Which version of the app should I choose?

To create your own exams and edit existing ones, select ProfExam Creator.

If you just want to take tests without modifying the questions, use ProfExam Simulator.

What are the limits of the demo version?
In the demo version you will be able to access only first 10 questions from exam.
Will I receive updates to products that I have already purchased?
Minor Update
Occasionally we will update a product to fix a problem or we will add a new feature. For all minor releases - you can simply download the latest version of your software, uninstall the existing copy and then install the new version. You should not need to reenter the unlock key and there is no cost for the update.
Major Update
Sketchman Studio may charge an upgrade fee for major upgrades. Once you've paid the upgrade fee you are entitled to free minor upgrades for that release stream. For example, if you pay the upgrade fee for ProfExam Simulator 6.0 (from ProfExam Simulator 5.x), you will be entitled to all minor upgrades in the 4.x release stream.
Where can I find exams for ProfExam?
We do not provide any practice exams directly. Many exams, however, are available on the Internet. For example, try searching for a term such as "exam files vcex".
How do I uninstall the demo version of the software?
To uninstall the demo version of the software, follow these steps based on your operating system:
  1. Open the Start Menu and go to Settings.
  2. Select Apps or Apps & Features.
  3. Scroll down the list or search for the software name.
  4. Click on the software entry, then click Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation.
Alternatively, you can also go to Control Panel → Programs and Features, find the software, and select Uninstall.
I have no Internet connection, or my Internet connection uses a proxy server. How can I activate my software?
Internet connection is mandatory to perform activation of software.
How many licenses do I need?
The number of licenses depends on how many users will be creating and taking exams. If you need multiple people to create and edit exams, you will need a license for each creator. For users who only take tests, one license per user is sufficient.
For Individual Users
If you work alone, create your own exams, and take tests, one license for both the editor and simulator is sufficient. This is the ideal option for freelancers and those preparing for exams on their own.
For Educational Institutions
If you are a teacher or administrator in an educational institution and need multiple instructors to create exams, one license for the editor per instructor is enough. For students who are only taking tests, you will need one license for each computer where the simulator will be installed.
For Teams and Groups
If you work in a group and need multiple users to create exams simultaneously, each exam creator will need a separate editor license. For participants who are only taking tests, one simulator license is sufficient per user.
For Corporate Users
If you want to use ProfExam in your company for employee training, each trainer or content creator will need an editor license. Employees who are only taking tests will require a simulator license, depending on the number of users in your training program.
For Family Use
If you plan to use ProfExam for family learning, where several people create and take tests, you will need one license for both the editor and simulator for each content creator. Family members who are only taking tests will only need one simulator license.
Is it possible to transfer the license key to another PC?
Yes, you can easily transfer your license to another computer on your own.
If you need to move your license, follow these steps:
  1. Deactivate the license on your current computer through the License Information window.
  2. Enter your license key on the new computer to activate it.
If deactivation on the old computer is not possible (e.g., due to hardware failure or loss), you can still activate the license on a new device. If the number of active licenses exceeds the allowed limit, you will be prompted to remotely deactivate unused licenses.
How can I retrieve my license key if I lost it?
To receive a copy of your license key to the email address provided at the time of the order, please use the License Key Lookup form on our website.
This option is available only for confirmed orders.
Also, please check your "SPAM" folder to ensure the email did not end up there.
